Collaborating to Codify Good Practice in Value Chain Development
"Welcome to the Value Chain Development wiki! This wiki represents the most current reflection of USAID’s approach to enterprise development, which has evolved from facilitating markets for business services to a broader value chain perspective. The premise of USAID's new approach is that enterprise development can create wealth in poor communities and promote economic growth by sustainably linking large numbers of micro- and small enterprises (MSEs) into international, national and/or local value chains. Read more about the background and rationale for USAID's approach >>.
As you'll see, a lot of work has gone into developing this wiki and we have many contributors to thank for their input already. You will also see that we're not done yet. We want this wiki to serve as a tool for peers to engage with each other and share experiences; it will only be truly useful if people like you—who design, implement and support value chain development programs—contribute to it."
