Examples of value chain analysis
In Zambia, the target value chain was beef. However when a project conducted a analysis, it became apparent that further analysis was needed of the veterinary service since that supporting market alone was a value chain and the performance of the veterinary services affected the competitiveness of the beef production. Both had to be tackled in order to increased the efficiency and productivity of both.
