Diary of a Poor Woman
I was born in the village of Twee. I don't remember my age but I was born when the village was still just 4 or 5 families.

Life Was Hard
I never went to school until I was 12. I had to work as a child from age 6. My mother worked very hard but my father drank alot. When I was 10 she started a small sewing business with a loan from USAID's Value Chain Development fund. With the extra money she was able to send me to school.

Life is Better Now
I am fortunate to have 2 sons who can work in the larger town nearby. So I am able to have 3 meals a day. But food prices are higher now and sometimes you can only have one biscuit with your tea.

Future Hopes
I want my children and grandchildren to have a fortunate life with plenty to eat.
